Racing fans won't need to wait until Sunday to relish the festivities of Indianapolis 500 weekend, as six Wienermobiles stroll onto the track Friday for the first Wiene 500. Slaw Dog and New York Dog are favorites.

Slaw Dog grabbed victory from the buns of defeat at the inaugural Wienie 500 Oscar Mayer Wienermobile race at the Indianapolis 500 on Friday. The race featured six Wienermobiles and Slaw Dog worked the draft brilliantly and pulled out the win by a wiener length in what was the closest finish in Wienie 500 history

The top dog in a race among the six iconic Wienermobiles from Oscar Mayer proved to be the one representing the Southeast.
