The occasion is being marked in her hometown of Hopkins, Minnesota, with a temporary renaming of the city in honor of her WNBA debut and a local brewery's offering of “Paige’s 3-Point Pale” ale. Streets were to be called “Bueckers Boulevard.”

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, Dallas' new star got to play her first professional game in her home state against the Minnesota Lynx. It allowed her father, Bob Bueckers, to attend the game and get interviewed during the broadcast on ION.
