Vimeo has pared back its workforce, laying off 11% of its global full-time employees, the video-hosting company disclosed.

Vimeo is one of many tech companies to conduct a series of downsizing efforts amid fears that the US is facing a recession. Vimeo went public on the New York Stock Exchange in May 2021.

Vimeo joins the growing list of tech companies that have downsized recently. The company announced a round of layoffs affecting 11% of staff.
