The Trump administration’s now-paused revocation of Harvard University’s ability to enroll international students raises significant questions about how a ban would impact the school community and its academic research.

The university has more than 20,000 international students enrolled at its campuses worldwide and they comprise 16 percent of the undergraduate student body.

On Thursday, the Department of Homeland Security had abruptly revoked the university’s ability to enroll foreign students.
