The U.S. embassy in Libya denied on Sunday a report that the U.S. government was working on a plan to relocate Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Libya.

Citing two people with direct knowledge and a former U.S. official, NBC also reported that the plan is under serious enough consideration that the U.S. has discussed it with Libya

Despite a report suggesting the Trump administration is considering relocating up to 1 million Palestinians from Gaza to Libya, US officials — including the State Department and the US Embassy in Libya — have denied any such plans.
