In my application I am getting message sent date from API response, I want to calculate the difference between current date and the date from API response in days (difference) using angular 8 and map in ngFor.

Feb 18, 2012 · If there's a simpler way to get the number of months between two dates, such as is present in any RDMS (e.g., DATEDIFF () in MSSQL and MySQL, MONTHS_BETWEEN () in Oracle), I am all ears. If someone suggests adding the difference in years times 12 to the difference in months, I fear I may lose any remaining faith in QlikView. Thank you!

FWIW: on Mac, it seems feeding just a date like "2017-05-05" into date will append the current time to the date and you will get different value each time you convert it to epoch time. to get a more consistent epoch time for fixed dates, include dummy values for hours, minutes, and seconds:
