Your Minecraft server address is the IP or domain players use to connect. The method to find it depends on whether you host the server yourself, use a hosting provider, or join someone else’s server.

If You’re Hosting on Your Own Computer

1. Open a web browser and go to whatismyipaddress.com.

2. Copy the public IP address shown on the page.

3. Add the port number (default 25565) to the IP if needed, e.g., yourip:25565.

4. Share this address with players outside your network.

5. For players on your home network, open Command Prompt and type ipconfig to find your local IP.

If You’re Using a Hosting Provider

1. Log into your hosting provider’s control panel.

2. Locate the field labeled Server Address, Connection Details, or Server IP.

3. Copy the provided IP or domain name.

4. Share this exact address with your players.

If Someone Else Runs the Server

1. Request the server address directly from the server owner.

2. Enter the provided address in Minecraft’s Multiplayer > Add Server screen.
