  1. Running a program on an Arduino involves writing code, uploading it to the board, and executing it. Follow these steps to get started:

    1. Install the Arduino IDE

    • Download and install the Arduino IDE (either version 1.x or 2.x) from the official website.

    • Alternatively, use the Arduino Cloud Editor for an online experience.

    2. Connect Your Arduino Board

    • Use a USB cable to connect your Arduino board to your computer.

    • Ensure the board is powered and detected by your system.

    3. Select Board and Port

    • Open the Arduino IDE.

    • Navigate to Tools > Board and select your specific Arduino model (e.g., Arduino Uno).

    • Go to Tools > Port and choose the correct COM port for your connected board.

    4. Write or Load a Program

    • Programs in Arduino are called sketches and are written in C/C++.

    • To test, load a built-in example: Go to File > Examples > 01.Basics > Blink. This program blinks the onboard LED.

    5. Compile and Upload

    • Click the Verify button (checkmark icon) to compile your code and check for errors.

    • Click the Upload button (arrow icon) to transfer the program to your board.

    • Wait for the "Done uploading" message in the IDE console.
