Visuals: Over a black background, the logo starts with black ink lines drawing on a white paper sheet. They form a brush-drawn version of the Paramount gate, taken into a box, with the company name below. The logo zooms out with a white background. Variant: On The Kite Runner, the logo is still and takes place on a black background.

Paramount Classics was launched in May 1998 to distribute films with a more "arthouse" and/or foreign feel than its parent company, as well as occasionally distributing content from Paramount's other labels.

Although officially rebranded from Desilu in November 1967, the logo officially debuted during the 1968 mid-season. During this time, Paramount Television began using the generic logo for Paramount Pictures in trade ads and stationary print materials. Owned by Universidad de Chile (former owners of CHV), operating as a secondary channel.

The 2004 Paramount Pictures logo made an appearance on the Brazilian theatrical compilation film of the animated series Peixonauta: Agente Secreto da O.S.T.R.A. It also appears at the end of Grease Sing-a-Long (a re-release of 1978's Grease ), which retains the 7th logo at the beginning.
